1. A new free online keyword suggestion tool with a unique database

If you want to succeed on the Internet, it is extremely important that you choose the right keywords for both organic search engine optimization and pay per click marketing. If you choose the wrong keywords, you'll waste a lot of time and money.

A new free online keyword tool helps you to find good keywords

KeywordIndex is a new online keyword suggestion tool that helps you to find good keywords for your website. It is available in English and in German.

KeywordIndex uses a unique keyword database that is not used by any other keyword suggestion tool on the market.

Many useful keyword resources

In addition to the keyword suggestion tool, KeywordIndex offers many other resources that will help you to find the perfect keywords for your website.

A number one listing on Google for the wrong keyword won't help your business. It will be a lot of work to get that number one position and you won't get anything in return. For that reason, it is very important to choose your keywords wisely before you start with your search engine optimization work.

Free white paper: the financial value of keywords and more

There are many factors that distinguish good keywords from average keywords! If you invest some time in finding the right keywords, you will have an edge on your competitors right from the start.

KeywordIndex offers a free white paper that deals with the following topics:

  • How to avoid common mistakes.
  • How to judge the financial value of keywords.
  • Which keywords will cost you money with absolutely no return on investment.
  • How to increase your sales with less traffic.
  • How to get more targeted traffic without working more.

You can download the free white paper from the KeywordIndex website.

Tutorial: how to find the perfect keywords for your website

If you want to succeed on the Internet, it is extremely important that you choose the right keywords for both organic search engine optimization and pay per click marketing.

If you choose the wrong keywords, you'll waste a lot of time and money. The keywords with the biggest search volume are not the keywords with the best return on investment. Details can be found in the keyword tutorial.

KeywordIndex is a powerful new tool that will help you to find great keywords for your website. You can access the new keyword suggestion tool here. It's free and you can use it for as long as you want.

2. Search engine news and articles of the week

Bing
Bing Search increases 22% in August

"Total searches on MSN/Windows Live/Bing Search increased 22.1 percent month-over-month in August, making it the fastest growing search provider among the top 10. Share of searches for Bing increased from 9.0 percent in July to 10.7 percent in August. Google Search continued as the No. 1 search provider, with 7.0 billion searches and a 64.6 percent search share."

Near-real-time search on Google

"By default the available time frames [in Google's search options] are: Any time, Past year, Past week, Recent results and Past 24 hours. Past 24 hours is nice but still far away from Real-time. What Google isn't telling you is that you can search in the past minute and even in the past second. The trick is to change a parameter in the URL that will narrow down the time frames."

Mobile usersStudy: mobile (and particularly iPhone) users not keen on clicking ads

"New research performed by online search advertising company Chitika suggests mobile users are far less likely to click on ads than non-mobile Internet users. In fact, they’re about half as likely, the study shows based on a sample of 92 million impressions."

Google dominates Internet landscape in India and Brazil

"Google usage is more prevalent in certain global markets than others. Two particular markets stand apart from the rest in terms of their dependence on Google: Brazil and India. In July, 29.8 percent of total time spent online in Brazil was spent on Google Sites, with India only slightly lower at 28.9 percent. The next highest global market was Ireland at 15.9 percent."

Google launches Google Fast Flip

"Fast Flip lets you browse sequentially through bundles of recent news, headlines and popular topics, as well as feeds from individual top publishers. As the name suggests, flipping through content is very fast, so you can quickly look through a lot of pages until you find something interesting."

3. New IBP 11.6

IBP is now available in version 11.6.1. The new version has several improvements:

  • New, Keyword Manager: The "Get keywords from competitors" feature now supports https websites.

  • Improved, Keyword Manager: The Google AdWords keyword tool now returns the local search numbers instead of the global ones. For example, this allows you to get the American/British/Australian/Canadian/etc. search numbers instead of the total numbers of all English numbers combined.

  • Improved project management: The Edit Project window now lets you specify really all project settings.

  • Improved project management: Some ranking report settings need not be specified in every project individually anymore. They can now be found in the General Settings window.

  • Improved project management: In the IBP Business Edition, all references to IBP in the reports are now removed automatically. You don't have to check a checkbox for every project anymore.

  • Improved the stability of remote-controlling Internet Explorer. If you're still getting crashes, make sure you use Internet Explorer 8 and remove any unnecessary add-ons and toolbars.

  • Improved, Keyword Density Analyzer: The PDF report does not break the pages after every section anymore so you will save a lot of pages.

  • Improved: The backup file is now smaller in many cases.

4. Success stories

"Phenomenal search engine exposure."

"One of the very best things we did when setting up www.writersworld.co.uk was to download the trial version of IBP 10 which we converted to the full version and faithfully taken all the free upgrades, which has resulted in our phenomenal search engine exposure on the key words and phrases for our industry which is book publishing. I cannot recommend IBP and it services highly enough."
Graham Cook, WritersWorld.co.uk

"I also appreciate the quick customer service."

"I run a small work from home SEO business called Totalmanager. I recently used IBP on three clients who were not showing in the first 100,000 pages.

All three now feature multiple times on the first three pages of Google, Bing and Yahoo. From this exposure all three companies have had significant sales via their web sites.

This is terrific, however the best thing is that they are staying in these top positions without having to do to much to keep them there. What does need to be done is semi-automated and takes me less than 1 hour a week to maintain.

This is a really powerful and practical product. I also love the fact that I keep getting the updates every time a new version is released. Highly recommended from a small business owner who relies on this application to pay the bills!"
Geoff Payne, TotalManager.com.au
