removal threats"In a discussion on Hacker News, Google’s Matt Cutts talks about link removals and link removal threats. Matt Cutts says that there are two different situations when someone wants a link removed." Google: we won’t lift a manual action if the content isn’t changed "In an online discussion, a webmaster complained that a manual action against his website hasn’t been lifted although he removed the offending content. "The patent doesn’t go into a great amount of detail on how it might identify paid links, but we’ve seen Google penalize sites over the years because they are linked to by paid links.
