Bing powers AOL search "As of Jan.
1, Bing powers AOL’s web, mobile, and tablet search, providing paid
search ads and algorithmic organic search results to AOL’s properties
worldwide. All major Bing Ads ad products are enabled for AOL search
traffic worldwide to provide marketers with additional high-quality
volume and ways to reach their desired audience."
In an online
discussion, Google's John Mueller said that capital letters in URLs do
not influence the rankings of the page.
Editor's note: White capital letters do not influence the rankings of a page, they make it more difficult for users to enter the URL in a web browser. "Google is
testing a new style of home service ads, one that doesn’t highlight
potential businesses in the search results page, but uses a form
instead. [...]
It has the option to submit a zip code and also features a drop down menu to select the type of job needing to be done." Google NCR (no country redirection) feature stop working but Google may bring it back "We emailed
Google as we saw the complaints to get a response, but Google did not
respond to our inquiry as of yet. However, I did see Google’s John
Mueller, who is tasked with webmaster communication, respond to the
inquiry on Twitter saying “I suspect it’ll be back.” Meaning, John
Mueller of Google thinks this is a weird bug and Google will fix the
/ncr feature in the upcoming days or weeks."
"The
company's spending on European lobbying has increased from just
€600,000 in 2011 to nearly €4 million ($4.3 million) last year. That's
more than Apple, Facebook, Yahoo, Twitter and Uber combined, but less
than the search giant's arch-rival, Microsoft."
